This definitely falls under the what's NOT hot category. This opinion piece out of the Gainseville Sun in Florida is alarming in its simplistic logic on why they don't need public libraries.This librarian is not amused!

Another reason why I'm glad I left Florida! I went to school at UF and, believe me, it's the deep south. They played "Dixie: at football games. Sigh....
What a bitter old man. Being married to him and experiencing his "bright" outlook on the world on a daily basis for your entire life might be cause for divorce. Also don't get any bright ideas, Starbucks internet is NOT free despite my best efforts to feed off their wifi.
