Thanks go to Anna for sending this article about the continuing role of public libraries for the homeless. What is really interesting are some of the comments - for example the one from Holland, where they say they have social services, shelters, etc. but still find that their libraries are seen as a safe place to go during the day for the down and out. In many ways, we should be pleased to be such a place.
